The company who were hosting our website have stopped providing that service as of 2012, so we've had to move it.

We needed something simple, free and which was not likely to disappear (or go bust!0 in the near future, so this site is now using 'Google sites' which seems to fit the bill.

This site is, of necessity, somewhat simpler than the old one in that this is a 'static' site rather than an interactive one. On the other hand, this site does not involve the society or its officers in as much maintenance work, and can be administered by any future society officers; it doesn't rely on just one person.
